Corey Caron – Managing Director

Time with Northwestern Mutual: Since 2001. Prior Experience: Joined Northwestern Mutual in 2001 as a college intern while attending Western New England University. After graduation, transitioned to a full time Financial Advisor role and gained experience across multiple areas, including Investment Compliance. Today, as Managing Director, he concentrates on recruiting, developing, and mentoring new Financial Advisors in the Downtown Springfield and Downtown Hartford offices.

Passionate About: Developing the next generation of financial professionals and fostering a strong, growth oriented culture within his offices. Resides in Suffield, CT with his wife, Erin, and their three children.

Kim Cavalieri – Financial Advisor

Time with Northwestern Mutual: Since 2008. Prior Experience: Began her career in Northwestern Mutual in the fall of 2008 and quickly built a thriving financial practice. Consistently recognized as a top producer and leading Financial Advisor while upholding high ethical standards. She is a 4 Under 40 recipient through NAIFA, has been a member of Million Dollar Round Table for over a decade, and was named Female Advisor of the Year by her network office in 2020.

Passionate About: A native of New England, she started her career in Western Massachusetts and returned to Connecticut in 2013. Outside of work, she enjoys fitness, photography, reading, and family time. She and her partner have two dogs, Harley and Oliver, and a cat named Jack.

Danielle DeLorge – Growth and Development Director and Financial Advisor

Time with Northwestern Mutual: Since 2016. Previous Experience: Began as a college intern in June 2016, then moved into a full-time role and became a core member of the leadership team.

Passionate About: Building enduring client relationships grounded in empathy and integrity, spending time with her husband and their two golden retrievers, enjoying outdoor activities, family gatherings, and maintaining a healthy balance between professional success and meaningful personal connections.

About the Role

As an Insurance Agent, you will join a team focused on helping people and businesses reach their financial goals through customized insurance products and financial planning. Your duties include establishing long term client relationships, assessing client needs, and delivering tailored financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client consultations to understand financial goals, aspirations, and concerns
  • Develop comprehensive financial plans that cover investments, insurance, and retirement
  • Recommend and implement insurance strategies to protect assets and income
  • Provide ongoing support by monitoring plans and adjusting strategies as circumstances change
  • Build and sustain a network of clients through referrals, community involvement, and professional associations

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: Prior experience in financial services, insurance, or business development is beneficial but not required
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, analytical thinking, and the capacity to establish trust with clients
  • Licenses: Required licenses include Series 6 and 63, along with state insurance licenses; training and sponsorship are available
