This role sits within the Branch Network, which primarily delivers Wealth Management to individuals and families to meet their financial needs. In partnership with the Senior Financial Consultant, the Financial Consultant Partner will help grow and manage an affluent wealth management practice. This includes servicing clients, expanding client relationships, and delivering guidance to the practice clients of the Senior FC. The Financial Consultant Partner will contribute to the growth of the practice by collaborating with the Senior FC on business development opportunities. Location: West Palm Beach, FL
What you will do
As a Financial Consultant Partner, you will be at the center of the action, acting as a trusted ally to our Senior Financial Consultants and their practice clients. You will use your expertise to deepen new and existing relationships, identify business development opportunities, and learn from the Senior FC along the way. You will support the growth and management of an affluent wealth management practice, delivering exceptional service, tailored advice, and strong relationship management. If you are a licensed financial professional with a passion for wealth management and a desire to grow under the mentorship of an experienced advisor, this role could be a strong fit.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- A valid and active Series 7 license is required (license may be obtained under a condition of employment through Branch Network Licensing Program)
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Financial Services Industry Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Ability to identify opportunities for new relationship development
- Openness to build, refresh, and deliver financial plans for practice clients in partnership with the Senior Financial Consultant(s)
- Ability to uncover and meet client needs and effectively manage client expectations
- Ability to build and maintain strong cross-enterprise working relationships
- Capability to become a Notary
- Experience updating and compiling client information using Schwab's internal customer relationship management (CRM) tool
- Openness to manage local events, as needed
