This role sits within the Branch Network, which focuses on delivering Wealth Management services to individuals and families to meet their financial needs. Working with the Senior Financial Consultant, the Financial Consultant Partner supports the growth and management of an affluent wealth management practice, including client servicing, expanding relationships, and providing guidance to the practice clients of the Sr. Financial Consultant. The Financial Consultant Partner drives practice growth by partnering with the Sr. FC to pursue business development opportunities. What you will do
- Serve, deepen, and manage client relationships while delivering advice to the practice clients of the Sr. FC.
- Collaborate with the Sr. FC to pursue business development opportunities and grow the practice.
- Provide outstanding service, guidance, and relationship management as part of an affluent wealth management team.
- Partner with your Sr. FC to grow the practice and pursue opportunities for expansion.
What you have
A valid and active Series 7 license is required, and the license may be obtained under a condition of employment through the Branch Network Licensing Program. A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license is required and may be obtained under a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Ability to identify opportunities for new relationship development
- Openness to build, refresh, and deliver financial plans for practice clients in partnership with the Sr. Financial Consultant(s)
- Ability to identify client needs and manage expectations accordingly
- Ability to establish and maintain strong cross-enterprise working relationships
- Capability to become a Notary
- Experience updating and compiling client information through Schwab’s internal CRM tool is a plus
- Willingness to support local events as needed
Additional details
In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities. Pursuant to the SAFE Act, all employees involved in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS registry system and remain in good standing. You will be required to register and complete the SAFE Act background check and registration process.
