Program overview
Location: Hybrid remote in New Orleans, LA 70113. The New York Life Accelerated Path to Management Program invites experienced professionals to advance into leadership roles. We invest in you from the start, developing key skills in marketing, business development, and customer relationship management, and then provide training and access to tools you’ll need for a management career.

We seek driven individuals who want to make a lasting impact on the financial well-being of individuals, families, and small businesses. To be a fit, you should be able to answer yes to one of these questions:
- Do you have sales or managerial experience in another industry?
- Have you previously run your own business?
- Do you currently hold a Master’s degree or higher?
In this program, you’ll begin as a financial professional, learning how to sell our products, develop client relationships, and meet specific criteria before transitioning into a management role. A six-month intensive training period follows, designed to prepare you to lead and to recruit and coach others to success.

New York Life and its subsidiaries offer a range of competitive insurance and financial products, including life insurance, annuities, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance, and investment products such as mutual funds through NYLIFE Securities LLC (member of FINRA and SIPC), a Licensed Insurance Agency. You will be required to hold securities licenses and FINRA registrations and affiliate with NYLIFE Securities as a registered representative before you can offer investment products.
Your transition to Associate Partner
After meeting defined requirements within your first 12 months as a financial professional, you will enter a specialized six-month Associate Partner training program. We’ll support you in leading and building your team of financial professionals. Throughout your career with New York Life, you’ll have ongoing opportunities to grow and be promoted to progressively senior management roles.
Compensation
If you qualify and receive approval to become an Associate Partner, you will earn a salary. The salary range for an Associate Partner is $60,000–$150,000 (in California, the range is $62,400–$150,000). You may also receive additional compensation tied to the agents you recruit and develop (R&Ds). R&Ds are extra pay intended to boost your income and reimburse reasonable and necessary expenses not otherwise covered. You’ll also be eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits, life, long-term disability, and accidental death and dismemberment coverages, a pension plan, and a 401(k) savings plan. The average income among our 617 recruiters at all levels in 2024 was $285,000.
